I had stopped at the Wawa to get my husband some snacks and a drink because he was working on finishing up building a wheelchair ramp for an elderly lady in our church. I had my two children with me and we approached the counter with all of our things to pay and a lady stepped in front of us and paid for our things and then handed us a card with the story of Emma. I was so grateful and I thanked her and when I went outside she was in her car so I again said thank you. She told me Emma’s story and how much of an impact she had on others loves with her kindness even after tragedy people are still being impacted. It was amazing and a great opportunity to talk with my kids about the lesson being taught here. My 9 year old daughter said, ” mommy people are making something good out of something bad, and we are being blessed because daddy is doing something nice for someone at church. God is taking care of us” it made me smile and cry all at once. It was the very presence of Jesus I felt right then and there And I was honored to be a part of something so wonderful. So now I have my coupons and we are going to use them to pay it forward and keep the kindness going. God bless your family through such sorrow you are truly making a difference.
