As we were rushing out the door with the kids to get Valentine’s Day donuts, I decided that we would also treat another family to Valentine’s Day donuts! I printed up the cards, and off we went. There was a mom with her three kids, one of which was probably twelve or thirteen (close to Emma’s age). They ordered breakfast and snack donuts for later (which is always a good idea, in my opinion! Ha!). As she went to pay, I handed my phone over and said “I’d like to pay for this. Please check out this website” and handed her the card. I think she was so shocked she just looked up and said thank you. As she walked away with her daughter, I heard her say “that was so nice!” And then she got on her phone, hopefully to check this site out. They thanked us again as they left. Spreading kindness, in Emma’s name.
