Ice Cream Machine

Today I received an amazing act of kindness from Tara and her family in St. Louis…

I was returning to Tara the ice cream machine I had rented from them for my wife Karen’s “Celebration of Life Ceremony.”
My wife of 44 years had passed away last week…and my Karen wanted no fancy funeral, just a very simple cremation, serving chocolate ice cream to loving family and friends, with Pink Floyd music playing in the background.

She would not accept any payment for the rental of their ice cream machine equipment and supplies. Instead, Tara handed me a card saying I had received an “random act of kindness for Emma.” I could not hold back the tears from my eyes…
