I just had to send you a message and let you know how much joy your daughter Emma brought me today. My heart is sad for you entire family, but I want you to know she lives on and spreads love. I live in a little town in South Jersey. I woke up this morning printed out 2 pages of Emma’s card and set out on my random acts of giving journey. First stop a few doors down. A young mom recently gave birth so I picked up some Lil outfits and slipped in Emma’s card and left on her porch. Driving along I spotted some workers fix up an old abandoned house. I walked up to first worker handed him an envelope with a gift card to a local mini mart with Emma’s card in enclosed and said buy some lunch. Stopped at Dunkin donuts paid for the people in the drive thrus orders, bought a few high schoolers orders at deli, went to an underprivileged neighborhood school and gave an entire first class each tootsie rolls and a small gift ( yo-yo’s, sidewalk chalk, playdoh), went to grocery store and paid for a random elderly person order next register over… Oh what a fun day giving in Emma’s name! Happy Birthday to your sweet angel. When I got home the teacher of the class was just leaving my mail box, there are letters from each child talking about doing random acts of kindness for others. Their teacher gave them each tootsie rolls and told them to hand them out along with the card she copied from the one I had left. Id love to send you these awesome letters. I think your kids would enjoy reading them. Please send me your mailing address if you’d like them. God bless -Dee in Nj
