imageIn Little Rock AR there is a place called HEIFER INTERNATIONAL, located next to the Clinton Presidental Library. It showcases places around the world and how they are helping families to learn how to become self sufficient for theirselves by teaching them ways to grow crops and raise animals to sustain their living conditions. For example, each CHRISTMAS my brothers and sisters and I collect money to buy a trio of Rabbits. Heifer will present a family with the rabbits and when the rabbits bred, the family will keep a small portion. Then the extra rabbits will be passed on to one or more filies so they can start raiding their own rabbits and so forth and so forth. When a rabbit has babies, there are several bunnies born, sometimes up to 10 ! Since there are 10 of us kids, and my DADDY’s nickname was RABBIT, I thought this was the perfect gift in more of my parents. The families can raise the rabbits to eat or sell for money they need for other things. You can imagine how many families will benefit from that trio of rabbits !!! That is why I have decided to use this platform to honor EMMA. I want to help purchase a goat in honor of Emma. (I love seeing her smiling face with the newborn donkey !) The family can use the goat for the milk (which can also be made into cheese) or for meat. Either way, the first goat will be used to breed and pass on the newborn to another family. Since they don’t have many goats born in a year’s time, I also want to buy a flock of chickens ! This way the chickens can either be used for the eggs to eat & sell or for the meat. This is a gift that will keep on going FOREVER and in turn will be helping families to overcome hunger. I challenge anyone that has saved money by using TIFFANY & PAUL’s advice or sites to use a small portion of what they save to buy something thru HEIFER.org !!! You can spend as little as $10 (if you do the SHARE AN ANIMAL) or as little as $20 for a flock of geese, chickens etc up to $5000 for a Noah’s Ark gift that includes 2 of everything. 2 water buffalo, 2 cows, 2 goats, 2 sheep plus bees. Rabbits, chickens etc! ENTIRE communities can benefit from this gift! And don’t just think it is 3rd world countries that benefit from Heifer, even the America’s receive gifts from them… Where there is hunger and a need ! This small donation could save a family from starvation someday ! And I think this is something EMMA WOULD DO !

I like the idea of the goat, it is a more useful animal for the purposes of sustaining people. I think it’s a great idea. Thank you so much, Paul

    Emma is changing the world!

In honor of Emma’s love of children and animals, I just made a donation of 1 pig, 100 jars of baby food, and milk for 400 babies using Cross Catholic Outreach
